May 23 | Randomonium
Randomonium | rock/variety | May 23, 2025 | 6:30 p.m.
Randomonium was founded in a moment of inspiration on a back porch in the Upstate of South Carolina in 2015 by husband and wife Sean and Heidi Chapman, and their good friend/ neighbour Atticus Killough. It seemed like a great way to let off some steam, and enjoy a shared love of a huge variety of genres and artists… And it grew to be so much more! In the early days, the band focused on playing any place they could- from the streets of Greenville, to small coffee shops, to the inside of grocery stores, and other venues both typical and atypical. Their high energy, interactive performances and extremely diverse and deep song catalog has helped them create music experiences that appeal to a wide variety of audiences. They offer several themed shows besides their usual randomness, such as their 80’s experience, Nëon Ärcädiä; their 90’s and 00’s focused show, All Apologies; their Yacht iteration, Yacht Rando; and (NEW!) their Pink Floyd Tribute shows (Dark side of the Moon, released October of 2023, and the Wall, coming November of 2024). Randomonium is now one of the most recognizable acts in the Upstate area. Playing music for those that love it AND building community is their passion, and they want to spread their love of music and the true spirit of rock n’ roll far and wide.
Tradition is defined as “The handing down of a belief, legend, or custom from generation to generation”. The Swingin’ Medallions, a Southern tradition since 1962, are a living definition of the word. How does a band endure the generations? The group’s signature high-energy style delights audiences of all ages. Their act, as well as their music, is indeed timeless. The band was founded in 1962 by John McElrath and now includes his sons, Shawn and Shane; plus, Joe Morris, the original drummer, who makes as many shows as he can! Featuring an ever-popular horn section, the group effectively blends the sounds and music of yesterday and today. The band has performed throughout the nation in thousands of venues. Their diverse repertoire has made them overwhelming favorites with college audiences as well as the more mature rock and rollers. Read more here!
BR385 Band was founded by 4 Brazilians in 2019; Rafael Ribas, Fabio Baldissera, Rodrigo Gonclaves and Anderson Gomes, playing local subdivisions and parties for friends and family in Upstate, SC. “BR” stands for Brazil, and “385” is the Highway we all live nearby. After a few months they picked up a Mississippi native (Jason Fountain) to sing English and Spanish songs, followed by a local South Carolinian (Adam Watson) for saxophone. Ribas left the band in 2023 and was replaced by Richie Hutchinson out of Monterrey, Mexico. The band has since added multiple hits in Spanish to the mix. In September 2024, Marconi Abreu joined as a vocalist/percussionist. BR385 is a high energy, multilingual group playing your favorite American, Brazilian and Spanish music!

Jamie Wright, a native of Seneca, S.C., discovered her passion for music at the age of five while singing gospel at her local church. After rekindling her musical interest in public school, she honed her natural vocal talent under the guidance of Ms. Michaela Cobb, eventually earning a spot in the honor’s chorale. Jamie pursued formal training, landing second place at a national competition and gaining admission to the N.C. School of the Performing Arts in 1997. Her journey led her to New York, where she performed with Opera Ebony before transitioning from classical to contemporary styles like soul, funk, and R&B. Despite early challenges in finding her signature sound, Jamie embraced her evolution as an artist, eventually forming the Jamie Wright Band and working on her debut solo album.
