Join the City of Mauldin and BridgeWay Station at the second annual BridgeWay 5K! This family-friendly event will take you across the Mauldin Gateway Bridge and down a portion of the future Swamp Rabbit Trail. The route continues as it crosses Butler Road and winds around Mauldin High School bringing you back over the bridge before you cross the finish line at BridgeWay Station!
The Fun Run will begin after the 5K ends. This event is family-friendly, including our 4-legged family members (on leash)*. After the event concludes, spend the day at BridgeWay Station and enjoy 1 free beer from BridgeWay Brewing Co, our official beer sponsor (must be 21+ to consume, valid for 5K participants only)!
*please use your discretion on bringing your dog, the ground along the route may be hot and not conducive for pets.
We are excited to partner with American Cancer Society this year. Stop by their booth for important information on screening and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support their valuable mission.

The run course will start and finish at Bridgeway Station by covering a short out and back within the Bridgeway facility before heading out over the Bridge that carries runners over 385 out to Butler Road. From there runners will run around Mauldin High School before coming up Corn. Rd. and back onto Butler before crossing back over the Bridge and into the finish line right in front of the open amphitheater and stage of the BridgeWay Station.

Where is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will be held Friday, May 16 from 12:00 – 6:00 PM at the Mauldin Sports Center and 9:00 – 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 17 at Bridgeway Station.
Where do I park?
Free parking can be found right at BridgeWay Station. View the Parking Map here.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome but must remain on leash! Note, please use your discretion when deciding to bring your pup. The ground along the route may be hot and not conducive for pets.
Is the route accessible?
Yes! The majority of the route is paved, though there may be cracks/ridges along the path, so please use caution. There are a few locations where you will need to cross the road, but officers will be stationed to provide assistance and stop traffic.
Is a t-shirt included?
No t-shirts are not included with the 5K registration. T-shirts are an additional cost and can be added for $15. The deadline to order and receive a t-shirt is May 4, 2025.

Location & Parking
The 5K & Fun Run will take place at BridgeWay Station (1000 Via Corso Ave, Simpsonville 29681). Linked here is a map of available parking lots, packet pickup and the start/finish line. Please enter BridgeWay Station at the Holland Road entrance. At 9am, the Bridges Road entrance will be closed in preparation for the race. It will reopen after the race concludes.

Awards will be announced starting at 11am. Awards are given for top 3 overall (male/female) and top 3 (male/female) in each age category.
Spend the day at BridgeWay
After you cross the finish line, spend the day at BridgeWay Station! Some vendors at City Market will be open earlier with an outdoor bar at 10am and discounted drinks with your bib. There are many options to enjoy lunch with indoor and outdoor seating. And of course, for 5K participants 21+, you will receive a complimentary beer from our sponsor, BridgeWay Brewing after the race!
In addition, we will have these vendors on site: Burn Boot Camp, Gotta Run Five Forks, Ultimutt Race and Camp Worthy.
